Image boards produced for FMP pitch
This board is the project which was carried forward.
It shows kitsch items & camp culture.
It also shows vintage catholic literature on how to say a rosary & the story of saint Gertrude.
There is a pink plastic crucifix glued to the board & I chose bright glittery garish colours to emphasise the playful & fun content of the project.
I was told to be careful of the content as students previously had got in trouble for putting religious art in an exhibition.
I have chosen to keep my sketchbooks private as I do not wish to offend anyone.

Image boards produced for FMP pitch
This cream board is a pitch on female saints.
I could have researched female artists & feminist works.
My pitch was to create tapestries & mixed media canvases based on
Portraits of the saints.
An example of a female saint I would of used is saint Lucy who plucked out her own eyes as she said her beauty was preserved for god.

Clithero
Interesting fonts & lowbrow illustrations on flyers for Easter week.
& my favourite type of Kitsch political.
The Thatcher nut cracker is up there with the George W Bush butt plug as a piece of design history.
