The focus of my FMP is the 70's but I wanted to show my interest in the contemporary too.
My research has included the second wave feminist movement & feminist artist in the 70's.
I thought it would be fitting to include a piece inspired by an artist who emerged in the 90's ( my decade ) & who is still painting now.
"She lay down deep beneath the sea" is Emin's current exhibition in Margate & the majority of the work on display was created in Italy using only cobalt blue & a sketch book.
